Just started happening about a week ago. Watching an HD channel with STB connected via DVI out with an adapter to HDMI into Panny SD50LC14. When I change to a SD channel all the Red and yellow is gone. Everything turns blue. People faces are blue, the words and icons in the menu changes from yellow to blue. The button indicator for the red button is blue. Everything in the guide that should be yellow or red is now blue. So I use the back button to the HD channel and then back again to the SD channel and within 3 cycles of doing that everything is back to normal. I bet nobody else has THIS problem.

First time I have seen it reported... It could be that you stb is going bad. That is not normal behavior. I would ask for a replacement.

If you haven't done it yet, I suggest you try a re-boot by unplugging the AC cord of the STB (as oppose to front button). And remember to wait for about 20 minutes for the PG loading.

OK. Will try the unplug rebooting. I hope that works because I havnt had a single problem so far with the STB even though its only been 3 weeks.
And another OK, will try a different cable. I'm using the one that came with the STB. I guess I can try the component input and if the problem goes away then it may be the cable.

This is a wild shot, but could this be a bad cable or poor connection? I believe DVI interface carries different colors on different wires and it has no error correction/detection... Just a thought.

FIX: Frequent lockups after the 7.26 update

HD channels come in in SD quality
