I have a Winegard crank-up antenna, that I use when stopping overnight and don't want to drag out the tripod and dish. I am using a dual tuner receiver (VIP222 if that matters).
What I would like to know is....Can I connect the dish to "Sat2" input only and use the RF remote for channel selection?
It's not a life or death problem, and I am able to connect to "Sat1" for programming, but it would be convenient when hunkered down for the night and you want to check the latest scores after your favorite TNT or USA program is over.
