I've had this 2.2m dish in my backyard for years and I decided to see if could make it work. Well with a new jack, a V-box and a Fortec Ultra I am getting all sorts of stations! I have a few trees to trim but over all it works great. Now all I need is an AC3 decoder.
My question concerns gTools. I understand I should be able to download the Sat list to my PC, edit it and then upload it back to the receiver. My problem is after uploading there are no changes to the lists on the receiver. It does set all my positioner settings to null though. Is there a certain way to upload? Should the receiver be set a certain way? (on, off, etc)
