Well - after the new HD were only added to 72.7 and 129, I had scheduled an appointment with Dish to come out and put the appropriate setup for me to get the new channels... I have 61.5 (for Internationals, HD & Locals) and 110/119 setup today and at that point, Dish CSR had told me that I was going to get a 1000.4 install that would would help me get all the channels I needed.
So, today the installer shows up and says, that if 1000.4 is installed then I would lose my Internationals and he does not have the "1000+" dish in his truck to install for me today - so it will have to be rescheduled. Then he spent an hour (!) on the phone with Dish on getting the right order processed and now have a new install date for Saturday....
What a waste of day...I had to take time off from work for it today and was completely wasted.
There has to be a way for Dish CSR's to be able to check before hand what equipment the customer needs - they already know where I live, what program I subscribe to and what programming I am requesting..... This shouldn't be this difficult.
So, let's hope we can get this sorted out on Saturday...
BTW: This is the equipment I have, in case that makes a difference: 722, 622 and a 211 with dishes pointed to 61.5, 110 and 119. I am in Tampa, FL (33614).
Has anyone else experienced this kind of failed install?
