Anyone else having audio problems with ImagineAsianTV?

It's on G10R, same TP as The Tube (11.720V).

Everything else on there seems fine but Image Asian either has no sound or is cracking.

The Scan picks is up as:

VPID: 0036
APID: 65535 (wrong according to LyngSat, should be 0037)
PPID: 0036

I've tried re-scanning and deleting and re-detecting the channel, the APID keeps coming up goofy.

What else is wierd is that is has 5 digits but I can only edit the last 4.

Is my CoolSat just giving me fits or is something wrong with ImagineAsian?

:( - Ugh. I might have to get a USB tuner sooner than I thought!

That or break down and get that PanSat 3500s I've been drooling over.

Thanks,

Shawn

I don't think it's AC3. I have AC3 and still no sound.
I have it twice on my reciever, the old one that shows up as ImagineAsian has no sound, the second one was imagineasian last night but tonight it is telemundo weird...
here is what it shows up as.

11798V 26.657 v/317 a/318 pcr/317

Just did another power scan and it came up as:
11720 V 27.692 V/36 A/37[AC3] PCR 36
Guess u guys need to spring for the decoder after all =)

I've got the decoder, my coolsat doesn't pass the AC3 audio

Shawn

noticed it last night when I was talking to Pete

The TV makes a chirping sound when there is a PID that's AC-3

and none of my receivers pass AC-3 :(

Bummer, I had noticed it also but thought it was just a temp. technical problem. Having spent some time in Asia, I enjoy seeing some of their programming. Guess I will go with AC3 after all....

I had quite literally JUST got my Tivo connected to the CoolSat and was getting it setup to record Uncle Morty's Dub shack when this happened.

I'm going to have to either pick up a PC based reciever (would make the transfer to DVD that much quicker) or Pickup a reciever that does indeed pass AC3 and then connect it up via my audio reciever to translate AC3 into baseband.

I doubt that 3500S has an on-board AC3 decoder.

I guess allthe more reason to check the AC3 pass on my Frankenciever... I will have to give it a whirl when I get home.

Though I moan daily about not having blind scan, threads like this make me think that maybe my Twinhan 102g wasn't the worst FTA purchase I've ever made :D
Thanks, lol.
(Imagine Asian TV works beautiful here, AC3 audio loud and clear)
