I am new to the HD world. this is certainly not earh shaterring but I have noticed taht the EPG on DISH never actually matches what is on the channel. Has this always been the case or is this a recent hopefully temporary problem?

As i say this is of no great importance. i just rembereda few programs from my youth and thought it might be nice to catch an episode or two but it has not been possible.

I believe the guide info comes from Zap2it. You should contact them with your concerns.

I will. I just thought that more long term subs might know if it si a perpetual problem or just a recent phenomenon.

My guess is that it has something to do with not being able to put programs in that are less than 30 minutes. Animania has many programs that are 5-10 minutes long, and it seems to be random on WHAT 5 minute show acutally gets put into the 30 minute block.

Kinda like a broke watch that is correct twice a day, the guide on there is right once every 30 minutes!

The guide shows programs in the correct length. It is jsut that it shows the wrong program.

But at thsi point I will assume that the guide is of no use. i did write Zap2it but I doubt that I will geta reply. In the end no big deal. i just wondered if it has always been that way but apparently no one else ever noticed.

It seems to be the case on Treasure as well. Hard to build viewership this way.
