Just curious if any analog Ku FTA receivers are still in production, or if anyone might be able to recommend a particular receiver that's now out of production but might be available second hand or on eBay. Also, do most analog FTA Ku receivers have the equivalent of a "smart scan" like many of today's DVB FTA receivers? Thanks!

Any old C/KU receiver will work. I have 2 Toshiba TRX1420's and a HTS Tracker IV. Both will handle C band & KU

analog doesn't need a smart scan because other than SBS6, the frequencies are the same (in 20K segments). The only difference is polarity, and if you "slave" the analog to a DVB box that's irrelevant

I have one Toshiba slaved to my Coolat. Have 2 satellites stored
-SBS6 for...well, SBS6
-Galaxy 7 for everything else
