Maybe the mirrors in your DLP is making it look bigger than it really is.

Who would put a lizard in their hdtv?
If you have the Planet Earth dvd, pop it in your player and maybe you can find a insect eating scene.

Yeah, it was for dumb ppl who don't understand humor.
I had a fly in my old 48" mistsubishi. I couldn't stand it. So I took the back cover off and it flew out ,Then it got mashed. But you could try taking off the back if possible.
You could go the route of the old women that swallowed a fly (I don't know why she swallowed the fly).
She used a spider to catch the fly. But that lead to further complications!

We actually had a spider descending from the top of the screen via her web. It, of course, looked HUGE.
I was glad to have the portholes on the side of the DLP so I could easily reach in there and get her out. Then I used a static duster to clean up the small web she was starting. Funny stuff.
