Just spent some time last weekend trying to fix my SG-2100 system running on USALS before the winter comes. It is off by a few degrees when I select "reference position" to move it back to its zero position. My plan is to hard-reset both the SG-2100 and the receiver Fortec UT Lifetime...
As an experiment before doing that, I try to play with DiSEqC 1.2 to see how it works (I have always been using USALS only on Fortec UT Lifetime)... First, of course, I try to move it back to its zero position by selecting "Reference Position" under DiSEqC 1.2 menu option. Surprisingly, It is right on the target at the first move!!! Then, I was thinking …what if I try again with USALS. By doing just that, and ...voila...I have the SG-2100 motor move back to exactly zero with USALS...So, no more motor hard-resetting is needed !? and I'm happy with USALS more than ever...
I think, this proves that it is the bug of the Fortec LT Ultra's software, not the SG-2100.
Just want to share a tiny experience....
Thanks
