Don't wait! The next batch of A3 STBs will be available mid September, 2014

This looks exciting! Just installed the mini, but if I can swing an upgrade, THIS is it!
The description mentions Google play. Silly question, but are there any compatibility issues with AAC+ audio-based apps? I'd love it if our radio station app could run on it! (and satelliteguys radio, too, of course!)

I really want to give one of these a try but will have to wait until the next batch, blew my budget on Vet bills this month.

Google Play is just an App repository, has nothing to do with audio compatibility as it does not query specific audio codec support as install requirement. Satelliteguys Radio is already in A3 Appstore. Reminds me I do need to talk to Scott, it won't install from Play Store on 6/7 of my Play devices. The one it does install on is a very special dev device. Too many restrictions on the Satguys Radio App.

Amiko A3 supports DTS which in my little brain is above all the standard Dolby formats. I admit I don't know crap about home audio, my last nice home system was Dolby 4.1 LOL. Correct me if I am wrong but the 99W Russia mux is AAC+ which works fine on A3. No issues with regular 5.1/AAC that I have found.

If you would like A3 tested against a specific App or audio sample please contact Brian @ Titanium Satellite.

Was aware of the role of Google Play, and thanks for clarifying for other readers! The fact that GP was mentioned intrigued me, as our station's app is carried there, but some HARDWARE cannot do AAC+,especially of late (due to pushed updates and newer hardware) thus the inquiry. If I understand correctly, the new box can "shop" the GP store just like other devices? Unfortunately, some android devices are not "playing nicely" with AAC+ streams and ironically its some of the NEWER phones on this platform that don't play our app properly, thus we are working to upgrade our app, but if this box plays it, for me it's a plus! Will PM the link just for fun.

Last day to pre-order at $209.

Thanks for all of your orders! So far, the requests for black color are 80% and red color 20%. Find this interesting as the contest would seem to indicate preference for red... Hmmmm...
