America's Everything Pack & HD?

Dish will not sell HD receivers, you need to get them from a place like the DishStore or from a local retailer. Also, most of the HD channels are one 129 and mirrored on 61.5 so you will also need either your existing dish replaced or a wing dish put up.

Dish has ALWAYS been happy to offer you the option of buying any additional equipment beyond the maximum lease offer. They love folks who have to buy. If a sub wants more than the what the lease pays for, CSR's have always quoted a price for any additionals and are ready to take your credit card number to pay for it. In some situations, an extra box/connection beyond the leased can be as low as $90, a few years ago, anyway.

Thanks for all the info I am going to wait till after August before I plunk down the cash on a new tv and reciever. Between now and then I am going to get my third dish up and running pointed at 61.5. Looks like all the non local HD content is there.

LOL!

Because the dealers have lower prices some times?

How much to install the receivers? What about the DPP44 switch that E* installs when needed at no cost?
Sure I paid more then the Dish Store, But I also got it installed and didn't have to lift a finger. I could have gotton them shipped and installed them myself for less, But then I would have had to buy a DPP44 and ran all the new wires myself, plus buy the wire.
$748 my system was installed. Retailer was $757 just for the 2 receivers and DPP44, not including the RG6,or installing it.
