I am thinking about parking an 80cm dish on SBS6 but I see that AMC6 is just 2 degrees away. Is it possible to strap another lnb off to the side to get it?

No chance the satellites would have to be at LEAST 4 deg. apart or the LNB's cant be placed close enough to each other!

I wouldn't waste an entire dish on amc6 that's why I asked about the extra lnb. I like feeds though. I guess when I get a mortorized ku system I can slide on over and check it out. I do however want ONN full time on one of my tv's

4 degrees is pushing it

Tim I don’t know if you’ve seen the StarChoice quad LNB. With the 2 satellites being 3.8 degrees apart (107.3 & 111.1) the LNB “eye” looks “squished”

Can you get 2 KU satellites 4 degrees apart? Yes…the old rectangle LNB’s on DirecPC dishes work real good :D

and they wouldnt be side by side...thats more of 7 or 8 degrees

the LNB eye needs to be right next to each other...I have a DBS LNB next to the KU band (both look like the old DirecTV rectangle LNB’s and when I’m on 74 (SBS6) I can get 82 (Nimiq2) with semi decent quality.

Is it possible to subscribe to encrypted stations?

How much of a "Southern View" do I need?
