Anyone in the North East, USA getting any KU or C-Band signals from this Satellite?

I'm supposedly in a medium signal level in the Southeast, and just did a detailed blind scan on Ku-band. Nothing yet!

I just did a scan over there on Ku and got some stuff, all scrambled.

I manage, to get at least 70+ scrambeld channels, I think it's called SKY Mexico and the signal strenth here in New Mexico is around 68 to 70%.:)

It's all on lower KU band 11.7 to 12.2 GHz.

It's coming in strong in Colorado. Signal quality is around 71% on my MicroHD. I got 88 video channels here from 11721 - 11921. They are mostly Latin american networks... all scrambled and each labeled with the network names.

OK, just tried again today. I think with the same results as DJ Rob: 88 TV and 11 Radio stations at 71 - 72% Signal Quality. Nothing ITC. However, I saw the first channel was listed as Caracol. That's pretty interesting, because I thought Caracol was a Columbian network, and the Satmap shows service primarily to Mexico and the Caribbean, as expected. Perhaps there's another Caracol, or they just decided to add it into the line up for fun?

What are the symbol rates and polarity on those you listed above?

I know my numbers are a bit off, but here they are:

11719 V 28888
11759 V 28888
11799 V 28888
11839 V 28888
11879 V 28888

DJ Rob's are probably more accurate. I replaced my lnb recently, but it was just the cheapest I could find ;)

Anyone in the North East Getting these?

No signal here in Ohio.

If you look at the footprint map, it takes a dive around Ohio and Pennsylvania -- no doubt due to the fact that the satellite was built with a CONUS footprint, then tilted southward at the new location.

I have scan those transponders in, but not on my new MicroHD. When I receive those transponders on 67W, I also can get the Florida Channel on 87W.

They are out there and when the FTA Gods have everything aligned I can receive them in New Jersey, 30 miles north of Atlantic City, with a signal quality of 70.

But they are "Here today, gone tomorrow," Oh the challenge of the FTA hobby.

Strong and solid SQ on a GEOSATpro 90cm and microHD near Sacramento, CA.

Nothing in the clear, but we can hope and dream of the day an engineer accidentally bumps the encryption OFF switch! :D
