AM21 Being Discontinued

My AM21 is missing an LP station. Using the same antenna, my convertor box picks it up. No big deal though...I do like the AM21 picking up my locals when thunderstorms block out the satellites.

The AM21 doesn't scan, it runs off a database Directv puts in their receiver/guide data.

A year or so ago they removed all the LP low power stations from the data. Several complained, especially in small markets where a Big-4 station like NBC runs on a LP, but Directv to my knowledge didn't change it.

Many of the low-power stations that were the only source of network programming have been re-instated in the database.

That's good. It didn't affect me so I didn't follow it closely. Glad they realized they were screwing people.
