This year, we're due for a ton of upsets.
Siena will probably be a 12 or 13 seed. I can easily see them beating a 4 or 5 seed.

We have had a few #15's win. Anybody remember who they were?
Richmond was the first IIRC. They sent Syracuse packing in 91. I think South Carolina was a 2 that lost to Coppin St in 97 and Hampton beat Iowa St in 2001. Belmont came pretty to close to knocking off dook last year, but unlike horseshoes and hand grenades close doesn't count. We have had a few #15's win. Anybody remember who they were?
A quick Wikipedia tells me only four #15's have ever beaten #2 seeds....
- Richmond over Syracuse 73–69 in 1991
- Santa Clara over Arizona 64–61 in 1993
- Coppin State over South Carolina 78–65 in 1997
- Hampton over Iowa State 58–57 in 2001

Forgot about the Santa Clara upset. Of course in hindsight can you really be a 15 seed when have Steve Nash? That was one of the all time ambushes.A quick Wikipedia tells me only four #15's have ever beaten #2 seeds....

I remember that game. First time that I saw Nash. My friends and I called them the "surfer dudes". Helluva upset. I'm telling you guys, this could be the year for a #1 to fall.
I had Iowa State winning it all that year. Ouch.
So your "prognostic" skills are something you just developed? Iowa St.? Really?

No wonder you hate upsets. You had a bad experience as a child. Your bracket was dashed by Hapton!
