Alright... A question of my own about All American Direct...

I currently receive the Atlanta locals (all of them) through DISH Network but have been anxious to receive the San Francisco FOX through All American Direct so I can watch the 49ers games (some of them at least) this NFL season. I had assumed I would not qualify and had chosen not to even try, but an interesting thing has just happened. I have gone to the qualification website and it says I am eligible.

My understanding is that I will receive BOTH networks for each I am eligible for (which is all four of them)... Should I simply drop the networks I have through DISH and follow through or can I instead request that I only receive the San Francisco networks... And, from there, can I simply request the FOX only?

IF you are eligible for SAn Francisco with AllAmerican Direct then keep your locals with Dish and apply for the San Franciso distants too. There is no limit as they are two different companies and they are not dependent on each other for approval. I have had both Houston locals with Dish and east /west coast feeds from All American Direct. I no longer keep the distants because of the poor pic quality.

My understanding is that All America Direct gives both time zones and you cannot get just one. You will get only ABC,NBC,CBS, and FOX. If you drop your Atlanta locals you will loose all other locals in your package such as CW, MY , PBS etc. So folks in the Atlanta or San Francisco DMAs get to see their ABC,NBC,CBS, and FOX stations at 4 places in the EPG.
