Just got this in my inbox.

On April 25, 2006, All Portuguese and Pakistani Channels Transitioning to 61.5°/148°

All Portuguese and Pakistani Language channels will be fully transitioned to the 61.5° and 148° orbital locations from the 121° orbital location on April 25, 2006. Therefore, as of April 25, 2006, the antenna for new customers subscribing to these channels is a wing antenna (DISH 500 or 300) and will no longer be a SuperDISH antenna. To give you time to prepare for this change, we are providing you with 2 weeks to effectively deplete your current SuperDISH inventory. We will continue to pay eligible incentives on SuperDISH installations for activation of qualified Portuguese and Pakistani programming through April 25, 2006.

Please note that notwithstanding anything set forth in any agreement between a retailer and EchoStar Satellite L.L.C. to the contrary, effective as of April 25, 2006, no incentives or other payments of any type that arise from or relate to a SuperDISH antenna will be payable in connection with DISH Network subscribers who only activate these channels..

Existing customers should continue to use their installed SuperDISH antennas to view these channels until otherwise notified.

As we continue to move channels from the 121° orbital location to 61.5°/148°, DISH Network will be able to offer more programming choices than ever before. Please stay tuned for any announcements regarding additional International Programming additions.

Most Int customers perfer wings anyways, most dont want usually to sub to the regular programming at 110/119 anyways so they can have a smaller dish than the SD at 121

The bad news is customers and retailers when the customers find out that they can't get the wing dish for free. New customers pay $99.95 for wing dish whereas SuperDISH121's were free. And if you don't get programming that's 121-exclusive, you can't get a SuperDISH121 then.

I already told a few portuguese people about this today, and they don't want more then 1 dish on their home.

A bunch of people in town have and will be dropping E* since RTPi has been offer for free on Comcast for over 15 years on basic 7.99, and Comcast is working with SPTV to allow the sat verision to be added for 19.99 a month to replace the cable version which has no sports.
