Wouldn't you think it would be a good idea for DISH to list ALL the channels in the All Channels list, like the Superstation package, International Channels, and the Sports Channels. It seems to me that they could pick up a few additional subscribers if viewers had the chance to see what they're missing.

On another note that I've mentioned before...I think they could add significantly to their Superstation subscriber base if they started carrying those channels in HD.

Well before any TV provider can offer a channel in HD they all must wait for that network to launch a HD version of the channel.

My 622 does show all that, as far as I can tell. I don't think my first-generation receiver 10 years ago did, but on the other hand it was only receiving one satellite instead of 3. I haven't used any receivers in between those.

I think OP is talking about all channels available in all other packages, not just the Superstations pack. My first receiver used to show the NY and LA local networks along with the Supers, now just Supers show. I like that if you do not subscribe to some package they do not show especially all the ones you cannot qualify for. You see, you want, you cannot have, Bummer.

So is it just me then? I don't have the national networks showing, but then again that's not technically Dish. I do have a whole lot of international channels showing, not just the ones in Dish Latino. I'm not sure what the OP meant by sports packages. I don't have any RSN's I don't get showing, but I do have the NHL and NBA channels showing. What are you not seeing, and what receiver do you have?

Duh! maybe...

good point about the dishes. I have 110-119-129. I would think the sports channels would show in red, but the international channels are probably on the 118 or another bird and therefore not showing in the ALL CHANNELS list. I assume there is a "sports" pack, like Directv use to have. I believe it was mentioned in this forum when they started adding some of the RSN's in HD.

The NY/LA channels are no longer in the 240-250 area and the ADD distants they do have a slate at 240 & 250 letting you know if you can subscribe.

The Supers show in my guide on the 811 and on the 301/311's

The Int'l do show if you have a dish at those satellites (61.5, 148, 118.7 or 121)
