Albuquerque and New Mexico HD

I recorded OTA and Satellite of KOB last night to see where the problem was. OTA is fine, it is only Dish's feed that is screwed up. I emailed dishquality@echostar.com about it but haven't heard back yet. Is that the right email address for this kind of issue??

I just got this response from the dishquality address. I'm not home to check and see if its true, is anyone still seeing the problem?

I did some investigating into this problem. I found that we did open a Discrepancy Ticket and the issue has been corrected. If you have anymore problems with this station please feel free to email again. We do appreciate your feedback.

We appreciate the time DISH Network customers take to email their audio/video quality concerns. Thank you for your patience and for being a valued customer.

Haven't seen the top-half offset problem lately, however, the yellow screen drop-outs are still there (I presume this is because we still get our signal from the old satellite).

Anyone know when Albuquerque locals are scheduled to migrate to Ciel-2?

Albuquerque Dish LIL channels have been switched to the new Ceil 2 satellite between 1 and 3AM.
The signal level on my 1000.0+722 went from 40 on TP 18 to 80 on the spot beam on TP 10.
You can verify this for yourself looking at the channel to test with Menu-6-1-1.

Dfergie...

What size of dish are you using on 129?
How does your signal strength compare after the switch to spotbeam?

Using a Dish 1000 dedicated to 129 only (using Dish 500 for 110 - 119(dpp44 switch went out awhile back...))
ViP 622
29-30 on Transponder 10 now, not sure of what it was before... after Yesterday and Last nights wind it probably needs repeaked as my Directv Slimline was moving around enough to lose signal occasionally yesterday afternoon...

Just had "Yellow Screen" watching the Today show 44 minutes delayed ...

So, does that mean the yellow screen was (is) not due to the weak signals from the old satellite? Must be a problem with KOB's link to Dish?

Now that the new sat is working, I hope KOB will work the yellow screen problem, assuming they are aware of it...

Report from the edge of the spotbeam...

I'm getting a 51-52 signal strength on 129 tp 10 with a dish 500 size
wing dish dedicated to 129. No problem receiving HD locals from
Albuquerque 225 miles east. I used to live in Chicago.
