What is the difference between the Ala carte option on Dish and then getting the actual? How many of the DNS's can you receive if you also have locals and are in a white area that is served by dish LILs?

You can receive up to 2 Distant network packages in addition to your locals or you can add any Distant network channel for $1.50 a month.

No, the most you can possibly have is 3 of each major network. It requires being in a white area:

1 - Locals for your DMA (all locals offered)
2 - One set of distants (Big 4 only)
3 - Another set of distants (Big 4 only)
