Al Jazeera America ratings have been in the very low side,
For sure Al Jazeera English had much much more viewers, but hey they had this great idea of blocking Al Jazeera English due to the launch of a different thing.

Here's hoping they realize their mistake and bring back AJE online in the States and ITC for all the Americas
Grew up with DF. I remember a story that said decades ago he used to fly from London to New York on the Concorde to be able to do a show in each city on the same day.

Regarding Al Jazeera America, I´m reading that A New York state assemblyman has launched a petition calling on major cable companies to drop the newly launched news station Al Jazeera America and encouraged consumers to cancel their cable subscriptions if companies do not drop the network

Bit of a surprise to see Al Jazeera America pop up in my skies on 20E Arabsat 5C in C-Band on an Al Jazeera transponder.
She's a powerful bird so my 1.2M "MiniBud" is more than an easy catch, very interesting bird is 5C, Iranians are there too.

Interesting, here in all the Americas, Al Jazeera English is no longer available due to Al Jazeera America broadcasting in the US, and yep I see that in that tp you have every flavor of Al Jazeera including AJA.

I also agree, furthermore I wonder if anyone actually watches it.
Last I know their ratings are so low that Nielsen couldn´t track them.
"The channel's launch drew just 22,000 people, which is below the threshold which Nielsen claims it can report viewers. An audience that low is called "scratching."
I'm still scratching my head over why they bought a turkey of a channel to launch this product. And they paid WHAT for Current TV ????!!!!
I share the same frustration, the operation included quite a sum of money, but apparently it didn´t include any brains.
