AL Central 2010

Hey, one of my co-workers just announced that she is unable to use her company tickets to this evening's Oriholes vs. Twinkies game and put 'em up for first come, first serve. Too bad I am working 'till 7pm and have to get up at 4:30am tomorrow morning or I'd take 'em. I haven't been to a game at Camden Yards since the '08 season...maybe even '07.

Talk about a bad investment.

Boesch got a rest. He's pressing too much, trying to kill the first pitch he sees.

Verlander was shaking as all hell, but came around, not sure if he got the win or not.

Valverde was lights out, which was great to see after last night, when the wheels almost fell off.

Verlander was shaky in the first two innings, then settled down once he started mixing his pitches.

The company routinely purchases bulk season tickets for Orioles, Senators (aka Nats), Caps, Wizards and other sports venues (e.g., soccer) as well as theater and concert events. Folks just apply online and they share the wealth. Most of my free tickets are napped at the last minute because someone they were dropped on the recipient on short-notice or something comes up. While the Nats games are usally a snoozer, I always combine a trip to Camden Yarks with a stop at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore City - very enjoyable and the tickets are priced right! Another thing I like about the company is they rent Kings Dominion for the day each September.

Current Nats were never the Senators, they were the Expos. Senators 1 (1901-1960) are now the Twins. Senators 2 (1961-1971) are now the Rangers.

There was a 19th century team called the Senators aka Nationals but I doubt you're old enough to remember them.

Twins lead 5-0 in a weird game
3 Orioles have been thrown out (Wigginton, Samuel and one other guy)
an Orioles "fan"has been thrown out for running on the field and it took the home plate umpire to have the moron stop what he was doing. The security was doing NOTHING to get this goof ball (FSN North never shows the actual moron on the field..they show the dugouts and stuff) and the guy ran towards home plate and the ump told him to give it up and he finally surrendered after like 5 minutes

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
