Friday Maggs saw 14 pitches and went 2-4 and a run scored.

Sat. Game 1 he saw 15 pitches and went 0-3 with a walk.

Sat. Game 2 so far, in the 8th inning, he's 0-3 with a walk but they must not list the AB's until after the game.

Boesch had a really good at bat, 2nd time around. He only got a walk but I think he was back on track. Now if he can only stop swinging at bad first pitches, he'll be ok.

See his average dropped by 11 points already?

Porcello is pitching well this evening...

Yup, the water in Toledo has done wonders once again.

So far he's gone 7.2 gave up 6 hits, one run, 6K's and 0 walks.

Tigers have GOT to win this game or waste another fine pitching effort.

Now a RAIN delay ........ maybe the Tigers will think it's the first inning again and try to SCORE.

Interesting .... when the Tigers game went to the rain delay, I happened to catch the out of town scoreboard and it showed it being in the 6th.

So there goes a excellent game pitched where the pitcher will get NO credit.
However it definitely helped the bullpen.

Games long over. Twins won 3-2. Well pitched game by both sides. Buerhle is probably the fastest pitcher in baseball.
