AL Central 2010

and if you listen to a post game interview with the manager at least you can understand what Gardy says....Ozzie...eh not so much ;)

I wonder if folks who do the closed captioning for live events know what they're getting into when they get the job for the White Sox
"Hey you get to work with CSN Chicago.."
"Yay"
"You get to be the closed captioning person for the Whitesox"
"So I have to type what Ozzie Guillen says"?
"That is correct"
"I quit" :p

Thats not so had, as long as you can type a lot of Bleep, bleep, bleepity bleep alot. :D

Woo hoo

Going to the Twins game
They're in 1st place
They'll still be in 1st place after today
and its a beautiful day out....not hot and humid. Nice and a pretty good breeze going

Life is good (for today at least) ;)

More cowardness from the WhiteSox .....
ANy chance they get the WALK Cabrera.

It's a shame, because Cabrera will not have the ability to have the opportunity to win the Triple Crown, due to people Walking him.

He probably get walked MORE that Pujolis.

Interesting to see how close the two's stats are this year.

2010 Regular Season MLB Baseball Batting Statistics and League Leaders - Major League Baseball - ESPN

Pujolis gets all the talk.
Cabrera just gets pitched around and walked anytime possible.

I believe Ilitch has made the right decision by standing behind his management team. Hmmmm.... $60M in expiring contracts after this season. I think we will be seeing another major change in players this off-season. Dombrowski made a couple of nice changes this last off-season, mainly the additions of Jackson and Scherzer. Didn't like the trades at first, especially Granderson, but for this year at least, it seems to have worked in our favor.

As for this season, who would have thought that Magglio meant so much to the line-up. Total collapse of the hitting since he went down.

At the end of the season, I'll comment more on what direction I think this team should be heading in, in terms of players.

Nice prediction Jimbo! How and the neck did you do it? Anyway, nice to see we're up by 2-runs early in today's game.

Yup, It was an EASY prediction ......
Didn't see the game last night and looked at the box score this morning !

I predict that the N.O. Saint will win last years Super Bowl too :D

I agree that there will be some major players changes, but I feel this will only happen after a change in management. We shall see...

My favorite Tiger fans and myself here at the same time? How you guys doing?

I know I haven't posted much this year, but nothing much to say but the obvious about this years team. I know how much you guys have missed my keen insight.

No Cowardness, Smart! Everyone is walking him, no other feared hitters on the team. And it's 2-1 now after Cabrera's error.

I agree also with the player movement , but I don't expect any major changes in the management, particularly seeing Mr. I already said that Leyland and Dombrowski will be back.

Which guy? I think Dombrowski and Leyland are as smart as anyone in the game. Dombrowski has assemble a very fine scouting staff, and has an owner who isn't afraid to spend, not to mention motivated to win a championship before his lifeline ends. As for Leyland, well, this was expected to be a transitional season, nobody expected the roster to have 10 rookies. .500 would be a great record for any manager you could name with this talent level. I can't fault him for the injuries. I, like you, question some of the on field moves, but then we would second guess any manager wouldn't we?

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
