AL Central 2010

So the bouncing in the standings continue !

Tigers a game back of the Twins and 2 from the fading Sox .... (:D)

Detroit needed that game BIG TIME.

Essentially, the Tigers split and picked up a half a game.

..."I predict the Tigers will heat things up when they travel down to Tampa where they will catch fire and rise in the standings next week." :)

Chicago Sox 53 44 .546
Minnesota 53 46 .535
Detroit 51 46 .526
Hope your right Jim :up
So far, the Tigers have 2 games at hand on the Twins and are even up on the Sox.

I look at it this way...I'm tired of dwelling on their dubious road record (beginning to sound like a knowledgeable version of Bob H.) so I can wish them into winning a road series. I've elected to impersonate a young Billy Mumy and wish them in from the cornfield. :p

P.S. I'm surprised nobody mentioned my reference to Sonny Elliot. I must be geezing:facepalm

Yes, but I cannot find a online stream, I was hoping to do it all online.

Interestingly enough, the 1470 AM has recently been bought up by 106.5 FM, same owners I think, they simulcast, 106.5 is now the ESPN radio network, the 1470 is the Tigers from what I can tell.
It's really confusing now, but I really haven't paid much attention because I have had XM for the last several years, so I rarely listen to local stuff on the LOCAL AM or FM feed.

For many years the 1470 feed was there, but you always had it breaking up or fading out depending on where you were in town.
They said that they were fixing it for years now, finally I gave up when I got my Impala a few years ago and had the option of getting XM.

For future reference Jimbo, 97.1 the ticket streams just go to their website. Bookmark it if you want some good sports talk especially the 2pm slot:)

Wow,
I haven't heard Billy Mumy's name mentioned in ages. :D
