Aluminum doesn't rust, so the engine block will still be there. Probably with a few rod holes in it.

If anyone comes up with a way to convert the video to something you can put on DVD and be in a format for either HD-DVD or Blu-ray let me know.

Nero 7 is working for me now... I got a Sony BDP 350 player yesterday and it will play the AVC HD encoded DVD 5 (or 9) .Movs from the Aipteck...

Will it play without any re-encoding?

Nero re-encodes it to the AVC HD format, I checked it out on my little 73" screen and looks good...

Gosh don't remember, just got a e-mail the other day to upgrade to Nero 9... usually they will give you a "Trial" period of 15 -30 days on some of these programs...

We saw the new cameras at CES, the new one has manual focus and an external microphone jack... msrp $244, watch the volume... I used my old one to capture all the clips I have put up and have burned AVC HD discs (readable by BD players) with Nero 7...

I am very close to ordering it. Ironically, it is on pre-sale status at Amazon, but available for purchase from Walgreen.com; seriously - Walgreen. Tempted. Tempted. Tempted.
