Looks like we're in the same boat, haha. Just bought a Uniden 4400 off of eBay without a remote. I might run to Radio Shack. Online, they have some universal remotes and a couple have Uniden satellite receiver codes...one of them is only $4. Worth a shot. I found one of the original remotes on eBay for $15 w shipping but it got sold before I could get it. I guess I'll just keep an eye out. Good luck!

I was just about to say that I found and purchased one on ebay the other day...for $15, so I think I beat ya to it -- but that is the only one I have found at a reasonable price, and I wouldn't think a universal remote from a store would be able to do as many functions as the remote can...but its worth a shot.

Just thought I'd add that I picked up a universal remote from Radio Shack today, #15-2147. Didn't work. I seen in their archives that they made a remote, #150-1908 that had UST-4400 listed in the code manual, but it's out of production. Guess I'll call and see what's up with that.
