Installer got here 3 hours ago, had to leave for an hour, is now installing in the dark and my daughter has to be in bed in an hour and he is only 1/3 of the way through.

How many receivers/TVs is he hooking up? Jobs rarely take more than 3 hours, unless you have a lot of custom work or are hooking up 5+ receivers. Even then he shouldn't need more than 4-6 hours. 3 hrs and he is only 1/3 way done?

Just two tv's on a 1000.4 with a 722k, he had to get a part and then he had trouble with his meter but at the start of hour 5 he's activating, just not a good day for him and I won't be calling dish to complain because I've been in his shoes.

Good man. Everybody has an off day sometimes. I've been there, as well as have it happen to me.

If he would have plugged his SSB meter into port two while having the receiver or DPP44 switch power the DISH he would not have had any issues. :)

Yea....no carbon copies of the DHP and no work order form either.....man things have changed with E.
New contracts and service agreements, no multi-copy pages are in just yet. (Too expensive.) So unless you specifically ask for a copy or make one on an actual copier we won't give you one.

The IRD port is a joke.
