After rough start, PS3 exclusives (Warhawk & Heavenly Sword) get good scores

I was starting to lose hope for the first wave of big PS3 exclusives after Lair had such terrible reviews.

Then Warhawk received a 6.5/10 from PSM and Heavenly Sword received a 7/10 from IGN. I thought the PS3 might be "teh doomed" as a gaming machine. But subsequent reviews have been very good for both games.

Heavenly Sword its such a fun game, its definetely better than Genji: days of the blade as far as the camera angles goes and the actual gameplay, but I only played the demo so far..
As far as Warhawk goes, I may be getting it soon, its a must have title, it sounds really great, I mean flying airplanes, and then the combat on land, it all looks great, and 32 players mutiplayer just adds more fun to it.
I've noticed the PS3 been bushing large online mutiplayer gaming.
RFoM 40 player, and this 32 player, which is great, not sure about you guys but the Idea of playing with 30+ people in one server just makes the place more fun rather than boring.
I hope Killzone gets 30+ multiplayer, it be really fun.

While I agree with you that having more people on the server keeps you on your toes I personally feel that when you take the number of players higher than 16-20 that you start being just a face in a crowd and have less of a chance to acctually impact the match or form any kind of a relationship with the other players.

Well luckily for you, I can assure you that you most likely wont be in a match with 32 people. While possible, it is highly uinlikely as 99% of the games avaiable are max 24 and i would say that average 12-16 per room..it's bloody perfect and a GREAT game!

warhawk should have been called warcrack, as you go in to play for about an hour and next time you look at the clock 6 hours have passed

Just picked up Heavenly Sword Saturday. Got in about 3 hours play messing around and I really like it. Great graphics, nice game play and as a hack and slasher one of the better titles I have played in awhile.

Sunday's PS3 use time: 3 hrs Heavenly Sword. 2 hrs watching Layer Cake and another hour looking at downloads of new releases and demos. Yeah, I think I really like this PS3!

ps: I haven't picked up Warhawk yet -- next month. I just purchased another 5 BD titles and if I don't slow down my bank is gonna bust!
