after christmas specials?

I am looking to spend about 700 on a tv (or projector if I can get a good HD projector which is my preference ) I had a panasonic 50" open box plasma (720p) for 700 but they sold it two seconds before me...so anyways, anyone know where to get the good after christmas specials? or should I Continue to look at best buy open box stuff.

I expect the deals will find you. Looks like volume might be a bit thin this year, with retailers willing to dump. Not sure gift cards will be as big a factor this year as last, so that could help prices go down.
