Adding yoiu content to usb transfer?

Can slip you own movie into a usb transfer? Anyone know what vid/auds codecs dish is using for flash drives?

You can transfer photos, but don't believe you can do video.

looks like they encrypt the drive first with a hdmi hdcp which can be cracked but not worth my time if anyone else is int..
