Adding A Second HD DVR

We have decided it is time to add a second hd dvr to our plan with Directv. I looked online and it is $200 for the unit and $50 to install it. Any way to go through third party or to get directv to waive the install?

best thing to do is call them.

If you have a good record of payment, they may waive the install and discount on the HD DVR itself.

NOTE: Adding a new receiver results in new 24 month commitment.

I will call them and see. I am fine doing a new commitment. I am only half way through my current commitment so we will see what they will offer.
