adding a sat to reciver

how do u know what to call the sats when adding them to the reciver,
i am going to add amc 15. i have a viewsat extreme..thanks

What's wrong with "AMC 15" . It's just a label, you could call it Nimiq 1, if you wanted to , the name means nothing, other than for your personal convenience. Now if you created channel lists and sent them to others, they might get confused by 6 or 7 "Nimiq 1" birds, but it will help their learning process.
