I have a 722 receiver serving two rooms, have been out of contract for years , and pay only for top 200 pkg plus $7 dvr fee. I would like to buy my own receiver to put in the bedroom . Which 211 unit is the best or would a Wally work on my account?
That depends on what you want to accomplish. From the way you have written the question I would guess you would like to eliminate the additional receiver fee by owning the receiver. That doesn't work you have to pay DISH for all active receivers leased or owned. The 211 family of receivers will all do about the same thing. The 211Z requires an OTA module for local channels but is the newest of the 3 models. The Wally has not been a big success story so far, mostly because DISH hasn't decided what job it is supposed to fill in their product line up.I have a 722 receiver serving two rooms, have been out of contract for years , and pay only for top 200 pkg plus $7 dvr fee. Yes, they all have audio RCA out....I understand about the extra monthly charge. I just want to ad a receiver and not start a new contract. do all of the 211's have audio out to feed an amplifier?
