Adding 211

I have a 1000.4 system with a vip 722/222. Im looking to add a 211. Can I just run the line from the unused LBN port to the back of the receiver or do I need to install the Dish Plus Pro seperators/splitters?

If you have an unused LNB output, just run the coax from the LNB to the receiver. Put a loop in the line to allow for condensation. The 211 is a single tuner, so it doesn't need the separator.

Just finished hooking up the cable. I had two unused ports, sort of. Ports 1&2 have the cables for my current boxes. Port 3 had a 2-3 ft lead lire which was connected to nothing and port 4 was empty. I figured the port 3 wire was what they used to tune in the sat so I just connected to the lead. Guess I'll know if it works when the receiver comes.
