I know its possible to add one location say 119 or 110 to the eastern arc dish as long as it's a dpp lnb.I did a quick search and couldn't find the answer to my question though.

Got a dish 500 dpp lnb already tuned to 110/119 can you just add that to the input of the east arc dish,or does it have to be only one sat location?

I wouldn't use a DPP twin (although posters here have said to have done just that), the two switches could cause problems. You may be able to remove the DPP lnb and pick one location to install a DP single or dual lnb and run the coax to the input on the EA lnb.

I typed too many P's lol its a DP not DPP.

It could work with no problem, although they may show up later as much as a couple of years if the lnb has a built in switch. A single or dual DP lnb with no switch will not.

Its a dishpro twin.Kind of hesitant to connect it to the 1000.4 not knowing if its safe or not.According to the dish install manual for 1000.2 and 1000.4 (The LNBF from the second satellite
reflector must be a DISH Pro Single, DISH Pro Dual, DISH Pro Dual Band, or a DISH Network
bandstacked LNBF)

Doesn't show dishpro twin listed. It also doesn't say that more than one location may be added. It would really be nice if one could add 110/119 to the 1000.4.With the problems the eastern arc has had lately it would come in handy.

The twin is not recommended, it could work. I'd go for a DP dual as they are the least expensive.

Yep I think thats the best idea.I'll have to look the list over and determine whether 110 or 119 would be the best single addition. Thanks for your help garys!
