actuator trouble ?

hi

i have a motek 36 "

the actuator only opens 7 cm and then stops

the actuator closes at digits 130 on my v box (vbox 6)
so the dish dont move very far
what are the causes of that ?

Did it work previously? Is there an error code displayed?
If it's a new, are there limit switches in the actuator? Adjusted?
Can you connect a 12v battery to it, and make it extend further?
A bit more info would be helpful.

i got an err2 message on the v box
the actuator is brand new havent tried the battery on it

Er2 is no pulse, so I bet it is the upper limit sw in the actuator. If you were to use a battery to run the jack out, and it stops at the same extension, the upper limit switch of the actuator is set improperly. Adjust as necessary.
