actuator problem

It is set up correctly. But others say there should be a 1-2 inch gap if it's the correct clamp.

The gap doesn't need to be that large,there just needs to be a gap.Once the flanges come together,no matter how tight you make the bolts the clamp won't get any tighter.

When it rains, it pours. Another actuator died on me.

It may be time to weld/add An extension on to get the hinge point out further from the dish and reduce the torque ? All three of my C Band dishes are built that way. Note my avatar.
