According to 'Sports by Brooks', Urban Meyer is new....

Well, you count the whole dsamn sec as your wins, why not.

My point in all of that was that Urban KNOWS how to win in the sec, so thatnhas to be a positive for the Bucks and a negative for the sec.

Ive reduced it to just Bama vs OSU, and you will have none of it.

Funny that you go to claim his wins and losses though, and you leave out his last season as an SEC coach, and your own teams record against the SEC.

:)

Hmm, he's never beat Auburn and has a losing record against Bama and LSU.

Tell me , how can he have never beat Auburn, but not have a losing record against them ?

Huh??
He did not win against Auburn. 0-2
Yeah. One of those wins was against the National Champion gators.:)

I'm sure that if any team from the SEC faces Urban's OSU, the SEC will be shaking in their boots. LOL

What are you asking exactly?

Re read the statement above.

It says, he's never beat Auburn, that would mean he has a losing record against them, would it not ?
Then the statement says he's got a losing record against Bama and LSU, well, wouldn't that mean he has a losing record against all three ?

Not unless Meyer can bring in a number of players from the south.
I think it was Dan Patrick talking the other day about if Meyer could have been on the OSU sideline when Florida beat them. Patrick said it looked like OSU was going in slow motion compared to the gators.
Good luck Urban getting kids from the south to go to school up there.:)

So, you're saying only the south has fast players? You can recruit fast players from ALL OVER the US.

You don't acknowledge that the "scheme" is just as important as the players??

yeah.....I guess it would.
I am not sure why you are asking that is all.
It wasnt a confusing statement that he made.

Did he coach the whole season of 2010, I didn't know, so I didn't add it in.

Players are a lot more important than scheme.

I found the statement to be confusing as he said that he hadn't beat Auburn and then said he had a losing record against ....

Why not just say he had a losing record against Auburn, LSU and Bama ?

Because not only did he have a losing record against Auburn, he also never beat them. In never beating them, the losing record was implied.

Hell, I try to forget that ..... what are they again ?

Go ahead, it doesn't bother me anymore !

He's never gonna stop.

He is the perfect example of how to avoid using logic in an argument. My teacher would have loved to use him as an example......(actually many different examples)
