Does DirecTV marry the cards to the receivers before they send them out or can they be married to a receiver in your home. If I picked up a free & clear clear owned receiver and had Direct send me a card would they need that receiver info to marry it at NOC or would the do it when I got the card in the box here and had them hit it..

When you activate the recvr is when the card gets married, they will ask you for the Recvr ID as well as the AC number.
Some times they put down in our system the access card number and the rid it is supposed to go to agents can overrid this but sometimes they wont as they are scared too.
