Not all current employees have full knowledge especially about smart cards technology and security measures related to the cards.
Your credentials are not self-sufficient for your conclusion.

I completely agree, but it doesn't make a stupid statement smart. People generally know what they need to know and that's about it. They're a business, and they train their people to do their jobs and how to transfer them to other specialty groups if that is necessary.

Before last fall they would of paid YOU to take the smart card.

What?

What a difference another 80 or 90 hd channels makes. Now they feel that they can gouge you and trap you into a 24 month commitment anytime you MOVE or add another receiver to your account etc.

Out of context. This is only true if you add a non-owned receiver to your account, sorry, but you get to help pay for the production costs of that receiver, however fair or unfair that may seem. Even then... 24 months? You're not even talking about access cards anymore, you're talking about receivers which is a whole different thing.

THey are getting a bit arrogant and as they always say: "pride always cometh before a great fall . "

Yes, the sky is falling, oh noes. Whatever.
