They pretty much have to play on Thursday's seems like ESPN has about ALL the major conferences locked up, with only 3 channels to show it all.
Maybe they will actually open up the ESPN Alt channels now.
The Big Ten has thier contracts with ESPN for ESPN, 2 and ABC, then the SEC was added and now the CC, where are they putting all this ?
Wasn't football that ESPN was going after. The ACC actually does Basketball really good, something unknown to non-UK SEC schools.ACC football gag!!!!!!!!
as long as they don't mess with the SEC's TV package I'm fine with it

On a consistant basis? Even the Wac has had Mythical National Champions before (BYU), but I'd hardly call them a power football conferenceDidn't Florida win back-to-back just a few years ago?
Not really. ESPN already had the football games (hence Ga/Va Tech's regular appearance on Sunday nights). This deal won't result in more ACC football on ESPN/ABC. If anything, this will increase ESPN's broadcasting of the basketball games (formally held by Raycom). Basketball drove this deal, not football.yay - more ACC slurping, especially for their football. Gah.

You haven't even seen the SEC package yet.
Big Ten package is 1
Sec package is 2
ACC package is 4-5 maybe 6th.
typoACC Sunday night games ?
Going head to head with the NFL ?
Good Luck with that
He might be counting the SEC 3:00pm game, forgetting that is CBS, not ESPN/ABC.As for your comment about the Big Ten, you should know by now that ESPN has been with the Big Ten for quite some time now, how can you say that the SEC has a more prevalent schedule.
IF the SEC is going to take the 12-1 pm time slot then thats a different story, but I don't see that happening.
After reading the article you quoted, it still sounds like it's highly regional ....
The Big SEC game will be on TV like always and the Big Big Ten games will also be on as always.
Remember, the SEC already has the 8 pm time slot and the Big Ten has the 12-1 PM time slot and it's a who's who for the 3:30 time slot.
Hardly what, the discussion was about the ACC part of this scenario.

This is no different than the Big Ten Network where the lower rung games will be available on the Big Ten Network.
The SEC games (lower games) will be on the Lower ESPN nets.
I don't see the Florida / Alabama game being on ESPN U
Florida plays Miami(OH) in their opener 9/4 on ESPN at NOON.
Week 2 also has Georgia/S.Car NOON on ESPN.
