About WD TV MIDEA PLAYER!! HELP

Was wondering if u knew about this little neat unit… I know plays computer files from external hard drive to TV with HDMI..
But what I wanna know if plays my DVR stuffs I recorded to my WD 750GB, then would plays too?

No i wanna plays MY DVR movies stuffs in someone house from my external harddrive to his big TV with that unit, I dont know what kinda of data is DVR recording to external harddrive is ... anyway hope someone know about that unit & Thanks space

No, it will not play recordings from a Dish DVR. Those recordings are encrypted Linux, and will only play on DVRs on your home account.
