? About switching 921 to 942

I'm thinking of getting a 942. Will I just be able to pop this in place of the 921? Or will something need to be done at the dish?

My 921 has the dual sat feed and off air antenna feed already from my roof.

The only major difference is that the 942 has a second TV out, so all you need to do is hook it up just like the 921.

Does the 942 need to be connected to a phone line 24/7?
