About a Forum group modulator calls you

Hi Folks,

Questions to ask around about a forum group modulator...

Police won't do any help at this point....

I'm asking does anyone who over site at forum group modulator that calls NEW members
by phone, without knowing it????

YES, I'm NOT kidding!!! I'm NOT going to say the name of the forum group on this forum.
Which is part of the rules. for this forum. But I can describe it to you and hope that if
any of you would have suggestions who to contact to that over watch that forum group modulator.

It's been going on since 2012, IF you sign up on the forum group, surprise the modulator
KNOWS YOUR PHONE NUMBER BY YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS!!!! To call you IF you're
a REAL person that joins the forum.
IT doesn't take very long for the forum group modulator to call you, less than 5 minutes,
once after you register to it.

That should be illegal, and that forum group should be shut-down for knowing your phone number by your e-mail address when you sign up for it.

Then, IF you don't like it and want to be remove from that forum, you can't!!!!
That forum modulator will NOT remove your username account and your threads.
They likes your threads to laugh and to make fun of it with other members.

So, again, just asking around, who's the organization should I report to that
over site a forum group that calls you once you sign up to join it?????

IF any of you REALLY want to know the name of that forum group, please PM
and I'll tell you privately.

In the meantime, does anyone knows???? That forum group modulator better stop
doing the calling, and should be shut down, IF it has been doing since 2012.
From that time, I heard it's based in New England area. Probably on one of those smaller islands by Maine.

If you don't like the club rules, don't join the club...

Don't visit the site and you won't be sucked into the drama...

Block the caller on the registered phone line and if the calls continue, announce that you are recording the calls and request assistance from your phone service provider to end the harassment.

Remember when you join any forum you are on that forum owners private property and thus subject to the rules set by that forum owner.

While I would probably not join any forum that requires a phone number to join ultimately that decision to do that was up to you.

I hope this can serve as a warning to people when signing up for other sites not to give out that kind of information to strangers.

Thanks, but I DID JOINED IT in 2012 by without knowing that the owner can call you.
I believe that I did NOT provide my phone number. It asked in the registration process.
But some how he was able to get a hold of ME. I did NOT answer the phone.
I saw what it says on my Caller ID. I do not know whether should I share with you what showed
on my caller ID.
But in 2013 my friends were able to help me by changing my username and passwords, which
means my friends took over it for me, and tried to cut off my original account and threads.
They tried and the owner of the forum refused to.

So I'm pretty sure that stupid forum is still up and running since 2012 and 2013.

What IF kids join it and they get the calls from that forum owner???

I even sent e-mails to the state representative or state senator of that state
where the forum owner is located, in New England area about that that forum
should be shut down because of the owner calls new members. And refused
to remove members that want to leave.
No response from politicians form those states.

Now you know, what do you think???

I think you are SOL. You agreed to their rules when signing up.

Once you sign up for a site the site owner owns any of the information or posts that you give them.

Again you are on private property, nothing the politicians can do.

Wish I had something better to tell you but thats unfortunately the way things work.

Might want to Mod the thread's title to make it clear this has nothing to do with SatelliteGuys or its sub-Forums like the Pit! It was not immediately clear that the OP was discussing an outside Forum.

Hi Folks,

I couldn't find a way to edit or mod my thread. But I can say this on my reply.

The forum group that I was talking about that calls NEW members that signs up,
HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SATELLITE GUYS US. GOT IT??? UNDERSTAND???

Just asking around IF ANYONE KNOWS WHO SHOULD I REPORT on a forum group
that isn't suppose to be calling up NEW members by phone by knowing NEW
member's e-mail address or ISP address, ONLY IF NEW members doesn't provide
their phone number, than that crazy modulator would call them in less than 5 minutes.

There's gotta be some WATCHDOG over site forum groups that ask for phone nunmbers
from NEW members, should be shut down.

What IF kids join it and their parents has NO idea who's calling.

Again, I cannot provide the name of that forum group, because of the rules
on this forum. CANNOT GIVE OUT THE NAME OF THE OTHER FORUM GROUP.
OR CANNOT SHARE THE OTHER FORUM GROUP'S LINK.

But I explained in details with Scott, the modulator of SatelliteGuys US about it.
You can ask him what's the name of the forum group I'm talking about.
But you cannot mention it on this thread!!! : - ))) JUST PM ME, Directly. : - )))))
