No matter what I try, I can't get Montana.

I have a 1.2m dish on 125, it gets everything else on that bird perfectly. When I try Montana, it makes my CS-8000 re-boot. Every time.

I recently bought an AZBox, but Montana pixelates & breaks up using this box, even though I get quality in the low 80's.
.....at least it doesn't re-boot, but I haven't been able to watch Montana since it was DVB-S. Never could figure out why. :(

I use to have a problem with Montana PBS, until I switched the LNB. Did a thread on it (you did post on it, are you still using a Primestar for 125?).

The only thing it does (as I mention in the first post on the thread), is it may glitch for a few seconds at the beginning of acquiring the channel (seems to be more pronounced when going to the channel from another satellite), but always locks in after that. This is on an 80cm dish.

Mine used to do that on my 90cm dish until I upgraded to a GeosatPRO SL1PLL fixed that issue. Like Keith said sometimes it still acts funny at first, takes it a few seconds to lock and stabilize, but after that it is fine most of the time.

I still have a Primestar 1.2 on 125 with the original lnb. I can swap out a different one & see if it helps any.
