ABC in the Quincy Il DMA?

Does anyone out there have any info on when the Quincy IL DMA will get ABC on locals in SD or HD. We have a press release from DISH that said Oct 1 it would be here. Guess what, no ABC and lots of upset customers calling.

The running joke is "soon" but that doesn't help you in this case. I have no idea and I doubt anyone outside of E* really knows. Unfortunately, it isn't unusual for E* to not deliver locals at expected dates. It may get linked yet today or tomorrow or not at all if there is a contract dispute. Anything's possible.

The channel was uplinked last Wednesday, but not made available. Dish Network sent out a notice that it would be available today. Last week, it was annoucned on KHQA news that it would be available today. KHQA is the local CBS affiliate that is broadcasting ABC on a subchannel which is what will be uplinked to DN. Today, no ABC. NOthing on the uplink site that it was made abailable.
