According to TheList!, there is a channel called AAFES on G26/96ºW. I'm curious what this is. The only thing I can figure is that it is the in-store video feed that is shown in Army/Air Force Exchanges. Is that correct?

The same question applies to various other channels: Macy's, Safeway, etc.

AAFES and AGHAPY are similar, they are both foreign religious channels that I don't understand.
On the Macy's channel I have seen some advertising programing related to Macys (The store).
Safeway no longer broadcasts on FTA satellite, but when they did they had a variaty of programing.

AAFES is a Army Air Force Exchanges Services and it's supposed to be encrypted.

They broadcast planetwide to all U.S. bases.

I work for AAFES at KAFB, NM.:)

Now back to TV DXing.......:hungry:

I thought a while back that the two channels on 93 West were showing the same kind of programing, but I guess I am wrong about that, I looked at the stream and the AAFES does not have an active video pid. So that means that they might not be broadcasting or that they only broadcast during certain times of the day.
