A3C audio

How do I get A3C audio? Some of the PBS channels are A3C.

You'll need to find an amplifier that has a Dolby Digital input or you'll need to learn to lip read!

I am yet to buy one myself. I think Iceberg bought something from Wal-Mart, but I am thinking of replacing my old Onkyo Surround Sound amp for something newer that will fix my AC3 problem. Almost any new amp has this input.

And your FTA receiver has to be able to pass along the AC3 signal to the audio receiver.

Yep...got a cheapo surround sound system with a dolby input....but the receiver needs to have an output for it AND be able to output it.

I have a receiver that has an optical cord but doesn't do AC-3
