A Year Later: Baseball Tonight in HD! (Or is it?)

A year later after Baseball Tonight debuted in HD! it is stilll 95% highlights in SD. ESPN has been so slow on this that even HDnews gets more highlights in HD than ESPN. What a joke to call this show HD? Would you rather see the highlights in HD or the ESPN studios in HD!

Not every broadcast out there is HD.

They have to work with the material they get from other networks/channels.

True but there are plenty of HD Games every night and they do not appear on ESPN HD baseball tonight. Let's not try to defend ESPN on this one. They had more than a year to make this happen and still we are getting SD highlights. Here are a few Networks that are doing HD games every night

Cox San Diego 4

There are about 5-10 HD MLB games every night and ONLY one will appear on ESPN HD as a highlight...
